So I want to start off by appologizing for my absense. School just started for me, and I’m already being bombarded with work. Now onto news:

The Jonas Brothers team up with Verizon Wireless and Samsung to announce a contest to win a vacation with them, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
The grand prize includes premium tickets to the private performance concert featuring the Jonas Brothers at Atlantis, Paradise Island, roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodation, car service, and $500 spending money.
“The Jonas Brothers are clearly the hottest act in the nation, and this program makes dreams come true for some of our customers with the trip of a lifetime to Atlantis,” said Ed Ruth, director of digital music for Verizon.

JoBros stayed on top of the Billboard Top 10 for a second week in a row despite a 72% drop in sales. Their album, A Little Bit Longer, sold 147,000 copies. The soundtrack to their Camp Rock movie dropped from No. 8 to No. 9.
Joe Jonas and rumored girlfriend, country superstar Taylor Swift, leave New York City hotspot Tao late Thursday night. The pair was accompanied by Joe’s younger brother Nick Jonas and his rumored girlfriend, Disney sensation Selena Gomez.
“Everyone looked really chummy,” one spywitness said of the JoBros and their rumored lady loves.
And get this, Taylor and Selena left Tao holding hands. Holding hands! Rumored girlfriends of the Jonas Brothers have to stick together!
The eldest Jonas brother, Kevin, and the brothers’ bodyguard Big Rob were also present.

Jonas Brothers scored their first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 this week with ‘A Little Bit Longer. 525,000 copies sold in the US, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The third biggest sales frame this year behind Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter III’ (1,006,000) and Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends’ (721,000).
The boys have two albums simultaneously in the upper-most echelon of the chart, as their self-titled sophomore set rises 11-10 with 31,000 (-4%) in its 54th chart week.
It’s the first time a group has scored two concurrent top 10 albums since ‘N Sync on the chart dated Jan. 2, 1999, with ‘Home for Christmas’ at No. 10 and ”N Sync’ at No. 2.
That’s not all. The soundtrack to the Disney film ‘Camp Rock,’ which stars the Jonas Brothers, stays put at No. 8 for a second week with 50,000 (+6%).

Sorry I haven’t updated since Joe’s birthday. There’s a lot I have to get done before school gets started a week from today ):
Anyway, here’s some of the news I missed:
Check out these exclusive shots of the Jonas Brothers at New York City’s Yankee Stadium on Sunday afternoon. And yes, the Bonus Jonas (younger brother Frankie) was there too!
While Kevin, Joe and Nick couldn’t reveal what song they’ll be performing at the VMAs next month, they did say the song would be their new single. Hopefully it’s “BB Good”!!!!!
The boys were also excited to talk to Buzznet about their VMA nomination for Video of the Year. When asked who should win for Video of the Year (other than themselves), Kevin quickly replied, “Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’ …or Britney’s ‘Piece of Me’. She seems to be having a really great comeback and that’s awesome!”

The debut of the wax figures coincides with the recent release of their new album “A Little Bit Longer”, as well as their “Burnin’ Up” tour.
Joe’s been getting his share of country music in latey, as he stopped by Taylor Swift’s concert in Florida, according to E! “He arrived about five minutes before the show started and stood next to the soundboard,” says Mishelle Rivera, assistant promotions director at Miami’s Y100 radio station. “He was wearing a Yankees baseball hat and trying not to be noticed. He was really into the show. You could tell he was really focused on her!”

The JoBros sat down to an interview with the Chicago Sun Times:
- Out of all the recent articles I’ve read about you guys, it seemed as if no one bothered to actually ask you about making “A Little Bit Longer.” Tell me how it all came together in the studio.
Nick: We started writing this record about this time last year. It was right after our self-titled album came out, and we were writing all these songs. We knew that we wouldn’t have much time, because we were about to go shoot “Camp Rock,” and right after that, we’d be on tour with Miley [Cyrus]. So basically what we did, we asked our management team, “How can we get into the studio to do this,” and we wound up bringing a tour bus out on the road that was retro-fitted to be a studio.
- So you recorded the album while you were traveling?
Nick: We did. We’d pull to be venues and things and do what we could do. Obviously, there were some vocal things that needed to be redone, and some drums, because you’d have the generator of the bus in the background. So when we finished the tour, we went into the studio to make a couple of fixes here and there, and basically the rest of it was done!

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. But when I seen this video I just had to post it. Apperantly CNN thinks that the Rolling Stone Photoshoot that the Jonas Brothers did was “sexy” and that they’re too young to be posing like that. Oh and get this, since Nick’s only 15, he shouldn’t be wearing a suit and tie. Give me a break! He can wear whatever he wants! Anyway, here’s the video:

I really wanted to do a birthday project for him, but I didn’t have enough time to do it this year. But look out for next year! For his 20th birthday the birthday project will be huge! Last night’s concert was absolutely amazing. My favorite part was definately when Joe picked up a little girl during “Gotta Find You”! There was so much fire and flips and other amazing things. It was so great. (:

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to update you from the road. We took the day off on Sunday. It was awesome to stop for a day and do nothing except rest and have fun.
On Monday we flew into Omaha, Nebraska and had a show. It was an amazing show. The crowd was up and shouting before we even took the stage. It was one of the loudest crowds yet. It was an arena so we were inside. Most of the summer we will be outside in amphitheaters.
After the show we flew to St. Louis. Today we will be joined by Avril Lavigne. She is doing 8 dates with us on our summer tour. Will be good to see her again.

The Jonas Brothers will join Kristi Yamaguchi:
The Jonas Brothers, platinum selling Hollywood Records artists and Disney Channel stars, will join Olympic gold medalist and “Dancing with the Stars” champion Kristi Yamaguchi for one rockin’ evening of entertainment in the US Airways Center in Phoenix.
Tickets for this one-time only event are on sale now. The show is scheduled for Oct. 12.
The Jonas Brothers — featuring brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick — will be the music headliners for Yamaguchi’s annual Friends and Family ice show, which features Olympic and world-class skaters and their children. The show will be nationally televised on NBC-TV at a date to be announced.
The Jonas Brothers have grown into a pop culture phenomenon, with hits like “S.O.S.” and “When You Look Me in the Eyes.” “Burnin’ Up,” the first single from their third album, “A Little Bit Longer,” debuted at # 1 on iTunes for both song and video, and was the # 1 video of the week on YouTube. “A Little Bit Longer” is scheduled to be released August 12. Joining the Jonas Brothers is Demi Lovato, the band’s “Camp Rock” co-star who will be releasing her solo debut this fall. In addition, Jordan Pruitt will be performing. Jordan’s second CD, “Permission to Fly” is being released exclusively at Limited Too and Justice stores today, July 22, and will be out in wide release later this Summer.

WESTLAKE — Ohmygod! The Jonas Brothers are moving to North Texas? For real?
Tarrant County records indicate that members of the Jonas Brothers – the brother band turned pop cult craze – granted power of attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, for the purpose of buying a six-bedroom house in Vaquero, a gated community in Westlake. The documents were signed June 12.
The real estate agent who listed the house on Wisteria Way at more than $2.8 million confirmed Monday that it had been sold but said the contract prohibited her from commenting further. At least one resident reported spotting the Jonas Brothers at Vaquero.
The publicist for the group, which began a nationwide tour last month, declined to comment.
Perez Hilton mentioned the Jonas Brothers:
Spotted: Taylor Swift at the Jonas Brothers concert in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday night.
The country cutie is rumored to be dating middle bro Joe.
But in a recent radio interview Joe said that he wasn’t daing Taylor, so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about.

Here is the third episode of the boys Band In A Bus series! It’s called Tonight (And Today). It’s not that great of quality, because it was recorded from a cellphone. But it’ll definately do!
